How retention works
Hit a tier, keep it for six months. Place another qualifying order before then to extend or upgrade — otherwise you drop back to your last-active tier.
How discounts apply
Tier discount is applied to every line at checkout in the trade portal. Stackable promo codes may apply at our discretion.
Multi-buyer accounts
All purchases under one trade account count towards the same tier. Sub-users and per-buyer reporting available on request.

Wholesale Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“Proteus”, “we”, “us” refers to Proteus, a UK-based supplier of research peptide compounds. “Customer”, “you” refers to the approved business entity holding a wholesale account. “Products” refers to research peptide compounds and ancillary supplies supplied under this agreement.
2. Account Approval
Wholesale accounts are granted at Proteus’s sole discretion following verification of the business documentation submitted. Approval may be withdrawn at any time. The Customer must immediately notify Proteus of any change in business status, ownership, or trading activity.
3. Research Use Only
All Products are supplied strictly for in-vitro research purposes by qualified persons. Products are NOT medicinal products, are NOT licensed for human or veterinary use, and must NOT be administered to humans or animals. The Customer warrants that onward supply will be made only to entities lawfully entitled to receive research chemicals.
4. Minimum Order
The minimum opening order and minimum reorder value is £500 (ex VAT). Orders below this threshold will not be processed.
5. Tiered Discounts
Tier discount is applied automatically to single qualifying orders that meet the published thresholds: Bronze (£1,000+) 10%, Silver (£2,500+) 17%, Gold (£5,000+) 24%, Platinum (£10,000+) 30%. A qualifying tier is locked for six (6) months from the date of the qualifying order. To retain or upgrade a tier, the Customer must place a further qualifying order within the lock period; otherwise the account reverts to the highest tier currently within its own active lock period, or to Starter pricing. Tier discount is non-transferable and may not be combined with promotional codes except where expressly stated. Single orders above £10,000 may qualify for bespoke pricing by written agreement.
6. Pricing & Payment
Prices are quoted in GBP, exclusive of VAT and shipping. Pricing is confidential and may not be shared outside the Customer’s organisation. Payment terms are pro-forma unless 30-day net terms have been granted in writing following a credit check. Late payment interest accrues at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
7. Shipping & Risk
Title and risk pass to the Customer on collection by the courier. Cold-chain shipments are dispatched on dry ice with temperature logger where applicable. The Customer must inspect goods within 24 hours of delivery and report any damage or shortage in writing.
8. Returns
Due to the temperature-sensitive nature of peptide compounds, returns are accepted only where Products are confirmed defective on receipt or where Proteus has shipped in error. Returns must be authorised in writing and goods returned in original packaging within 7 days.
9. Onward Sale & Labelling
The Customer must not relabel, repackage, or represent the Products as anything other than research chemicals. The Customer indemnifies Proteus against any claim arising from misrepresentation, mislabelling, or misuse of the Products following sale.
10. Confidentiality
Pricing, tier discounts, promotional codes, formulations, supplier information, and any technical documentation provided by Proteus are confidential and may not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent.
11. Compliance
The Customer is solely responsible for compliance with all applicable UK and international laws, including the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016, the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and all relevant export controls.
12. Data & Account Security
The Customer is responsible for keeping their wholesale account credentials secure and for all activity placed under the account. Suspected compromise must be reported immediately to wholesale@proteuspeptides.com.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proteus’s liability for any claim arising under this agreement is limited to the invoiced value of the Products to which the claim relates. Proteus accepts no liability for indirect, consequential, or economic loss.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement on 30 days’ written notice. Proteus may terminate immediately for breach, insolvency, or where continued supply would expose Proteus to legal or reputational risk. On termination any unused tier lock period lapses immediately.
15. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
