1. Research-only use

All products supplied by Proteus^® are sold strictly as research chemicals for in-vitro laboratory use by qualified researchers, laboratories and institutions in the United Kingdom. They are not for human or animal consumption, not for diagnostic, therapeutic or cosmetic use, and are not approved as medicines. By placing an order you confirm research-only intent and that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Orders & payment

Orders are processed once payment is confirmed via Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

3. Shipping

UK orders placed before 3pm on a business day are dispatched the same day; orders placed later or at the weekend are dispatched on the next business day. Delivery estimates are indicative and not guaranteed except where you have selected an explicitly guaranteed service.

4. Returns

Due to the nature of research compounds, we cannot accept returns on opened or temperature-sensitive products. If a vial arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace it free of charge.

5. Quality

Every batch is independently tested at ≥98% purity by HPLC, with a third-party Certificate of Analysis available on request. We do not warrant fitness for any particular purpose beyond the disclosed purity specification.

6. Liability

Proteus^® accepts no liability for any use of the products outside of bona-fide research. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our maximum liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
